What will you add to the pantry? "Be Concerned" is CC 34 Service Project

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO ADD TO THE PANTRY?

The APRNs that attend the 34th Annual Coalition Conference will not only enhance their knowledge and their practice at the four day event -- but they will share gifts of food and supplies to aid the "Be Concerned" project of Covington, Ky.

"Be Concerned," otherwise known as the People's Pantry, is deeply committed to honoring the dignity and humanity of all persons. Their purpose is to assist the people of Northern Kentucky in obtaining the basic necessities for life.

Be Concerned’s aggressive push to help those that are hungry has made it the largest free food program in Northern Kentucky. Just as important as what they give their shoppers is how it is delivered: with a smile, a hug or an encouraging word.

CC 34 attendees are invited to bring any of the needed items listed below, if you don't have time to shop, monetary donations are also welcome.

Be Concerned: The People's Pantry Shopping List suggestions:

  • Household cleaning items (laundry detergent, cleaning sprays, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap)

  • Cereal

  • Crackers

  • Canned items

  • Can openers

  • Pasta

  • Flour

  • Cooking Oils
