Updated: Dec 31, 2021

CC34 sets the premiere standard for continuing education for APRNs

Conference Registration opens January 1, 2022. Be an "Early Bird" and save!

KANPNM’s APRN Conference Committee members have developed a collection of 69 sessions and workshops by taking suggestions from last year’s participants and looking at the needs relevant to APRN practice today. This 34th Annual Coalition Conference presents a great line-up of faculty presenting new research guaranteed to enhance your knowledge and your practice.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The purpose of the conference is to offer professional presentations and practical workshops that promote clinical excellence and improve the quality of care provided by the healthcare practitioner. By attending this conference and participating in the educational sessions, the attendee will be able to:

1. Consult with experts in primary and acute care specialties.

2. Discuss issues related to Primary Care/Adult Health, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Acute Care, Midwifery, and Psychiatric practice.

3. Develop assessment and clinical management skills.

4. Evaluate current and new treatment methods and pharmacologic therapies.

5. Identify issues that affect advanced practice including reimbursement, malpractice, clinical practice guidelines and new technologies.

6. Increase advanced practice skills to provide expanded services.

MOBILE APP

The Coalition Conference mobile app will help you find the right room, connect with participants, read speaker materials, and learn more about what’s happening in NKY. You will be able to complete the required session evaluations in the app, too! Wi-Fi will be available throughout the entire conference space for all participants.

EXHIBITS, INFORMATION, & PRIZES!

Our Exhibit Hall will be open on Wednesday and Thursday April 27th and 28th and will be packed with the latest and greatest devices and treatments. You will find helpful information and great door prizes as you enjoy the resources brought to you by the sponsoring companies.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

The Marriott RiverCenter, Embassy Suites RiverCenter and Holiday Inn Riverfront has agreed to set aside a block of rooms for our attendees until April 6, 2022. After April 6th rates will rise and room availability may be sparse. Reserving early and in our block helps us keep our costs down. To receive the discounted rate, you will need to reserve your room online through the KANPNM website. Do not call the hotels directly.

KANPNM AWARDS RECEPTION and PAC PARTY

Spend an evening in conversation and reconnection with colleagues and NP friends from all across the state as KANPNM celebrates our annual scholarship and poster winners and other acclaimed NPs who are recognized for their skill and service to their patients and profession.

Meet with our Legislative Champions and Advocacy Heroes who have worked to bring the Association's policy goals to reality in law. Don't miss this opportunity to visit with lawmakers and strengthen your friendships with policymakers who value APRNs and want to increase access to high quality health care for all Kentuckians.

Make sure you have your ticket for the PAC Party that will be "Rockin' on the River" and raising the all important funds to fuel the push for pro-patient and pro-APRN legislative issues. This memory-making evening features a auction like no other -- what item will cross the auction block that needs to go home with you? Concert tickets? Rare Bourbon? Spa experiences? Trips to fun locations? Every auction is different and full of surprises and fun.
