Wanted! Items for PAC Party Silent Auction

Updated: Apr 7, 2022

Time to get creative and Back KAP-PAC!

A primary source of member fun -- and PAC revenue -- happens at Coalition Conference as the annual PAC Party revs up the bids during a Silent Auction. The ticketed event includes drinks, munchies and is always a highlight of conference.

The items up for bid include gift and goodie baskets provided by KANPNM Regions and a vast array of individual items ranging from tee-shirts to collectible bourbons and from getaway trips to concert tickets.

Donate an item to the auction

If you would like to donate an item to be included in the auction, let PAC President Cathy know what the item is and its approximate value. Please include a itemized list of items in a basket to aid promotion and reporting. Next, bring the item to Conference and watch as it helps raise money to protect and promote our profession.

THEME BASKET IDEAS

We've seen a lot of fun basket themes over the years all of which have been both delightful and useful. Let your imagination be your guide! Some interesting "theme" ideas might include...

THINK OUTSIDE THE "BOX"

Some of the best items for a silent auction won't fit in a box. "Experience" type items are especially popular. Perhaps you (or someone you know) could donate...

  • A pair of tickets to a game featuring a popular sports team

  • A pair of tickets to a exciting concert at a nearby venue

  • A weekend getaway to a time share or property you control

  • A prepaid "Dinner for Two" at an exclusive restaurant

  • A pair of tickets to a Broadway traveling show in the area

Your generosity and creativity will not only help the PAC raise what it needs to be successful, but your donated items add to the enjoyment as members work to out-bid one another to land their "favorite" auction items.

KAP-PAC, the political action committee charged with promoting legislative goals and policy that benefits Kentucky APRNs, their patients and their profession appreciates your help to raise the funds. Money raised is used to amplify the collective voice of the Association and to support legislators who are supportive of APRNs.
